This is a combination of two documents I wrote in the class, summarizing the main takeaways I had in each half of the quarter. We covered a lot of different material over the course of 3 months, but most of the topics I chose to focus on were centered on different methods of coping, including mindfulness. This class tasked us with doing weekly meditations meant to improve our ability to be present in the moment. I take this skill with me into the future, and I still do nightly meditations to remind myself of what I'm grateful for and to ground myself in the here and now.
